The Walt Disney Company and Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading destination and experiences company, announced an agreement to develop a landmark Disney theme park resort in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The beachfront resort will be located on Yas Island, a world-class destination for entertainment and leisure, connecting travelers from the Middle East and Africa, India, Asia, Europe and beyond. This seventh Disney theme park resort will combine Disney’s iconic stories, characters and attractions with Abu Dhabi’s vibrant culture, stunning beaches and breathtaking architecture.
Miral will develop and build the new resort entirely. Disney and its renowned Imagineers will lead the creative design and operational oversight to deliver a world-class experience. Miral, which has developed multiple family entertainment destinations on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island in partnership with American and European brands, will operate the resort.
